The Premos Bale Shredder enables the Premos 5000 to function as a stationary mill year-round. Bales are removed from storage and fed into the machine via the shredding rollers, converting the bales into pellets. The Premos can be easily converted into a stationary mill by removing the pickup and replacing it with the bale shredder and table.

Stationary Bale Shredding

The bale shredder consists of four hydraulic rotors with knives and guide plates. As the bale passes over them, the straw is cut by the knives and pulled out by the serrated plates. To ensure optimal material distribution across the working width, additional deflector plates are arranged behind the rotors.
